The area on the left side of the driveway is quickly becoming overgrow with native vines and perennials. While I would like to manicure it a bit, I am relucant to. The butterflies and bees are just loving it. This has turned into my favorite spot to photography them. I just stand in the middle and they hover around.
They don’t seem to mind me at all, provided I do not interfere with their nectar gathering efforts. There are bumble bees, honey bees, wasps and butterflies. The nice thing is my vegetable beds are just about 10 feet away, and they also visit them. More pollinating….
While the Gulf Fritillary favors the passion vine, it is quite happy with the Cypress Vine and Society Garlic.
